Spring Themed Styled Shoot


Styled shoots have a piece of my heart. They really give you time to be creative and create new content for your business. I latley attended a styled shoot hosted by Jennifer Wahlbrink Photography. She did an amazing job making this shoot a true labor of love. Every detail was perfect down to the last daisy. We also had some amazing models and superstar vendors that made the day magical. I was surrounded by so many talented women in the wedding industry. Styled shoots are beneficial in many different ways. Not only do they give you new creative content, but they really allow you to be inspired! Taking time to be inspired and create at something you chose versus something you are hired for can also help combat burnout.

The Events Through the Shoot

The Details


The very beginning of the shoot included getting all the detail shots. There was a table setup lines with whimsical florals and beautiful stationary. There was also a cake that looked as if it was resting in a bed of flowers. To bring it all together there was a wedding day flat lay with all the details from the setup.

The "Wedding"


There was lots of time to get plenty of shots of the bride and/or the groom with the setup that was made. There was a beautiful aisle set up that made for amazing "wedding" pictures. So many details made the creative juices in my brain flow. There was also a cake cutting.

Bubble Exit


You would never know until I told you, but due to the fact that we did not have a congregation, we used a bubble machine to create hundreds of bubbles! Such a fun way to end the "wedding" portion.

Party Time


Ended the night with a bang! Had fun partying with the couple and fellow photographers. We used flash photography for this portion. There was a cute white heart cake that said "just married" for this portion. We were all worn out at the end due to this shoot being an almost 6 hour event. Although, it was so worth it.
